On 1st August 2022, Batik Air brought visitors of Flight OD540 that departed from Kuala-Lumpur International Airport (KUL), Malaysia, and arrived at Phuket International Airport (HKT) on 12.50 p.m. by Boeing 737- MAX 8. AOT Ground Aviation Services (AOTGA) has joined in a welcoming, presenting souvenirs to congratulate the flight and taking pictures with the 31st representatives of AOTGA's Airline customer at Phuket that AOTGA handled ground services at Phuket International Airport. The return of Batik Air is a good sign of economic recovery in tourism that will make Phuket and Thailand better again.
Batik Air known as Malindo Air, is a low-cost airline and has base in Malaysia, Batik Air is one of the foreign airlines that flew into Phuket, Thailand, after fully reopening of the country and Thailand Pass was no longer required for foreign travelers entering Thailand.
