AOTGA welcomes the return of Tigerair Taiwan (IT) at Don Mueang Airport.


On October 1, 2022 Tigerair Taiwan Airlines, a Taiwanese national airline, the winner of the CAPA Low-Cost Airline of Year award in 2006 and 2010 has reopened at Don Mueang Airport. In addition to Japan, which is about to open for travelers to the country on October 11, 2022, Taiwan is also about to open the country on October 13, 2022 as well.

Lo Ping-Cheng, a spokesman for the Taiwanese Cabinet, told reporters. “Due to the number of well vaccinated Taiwanese population and the authorities can control the outbreak. So, it's time to open the border again.” Besides, many countries are starting to open to tourists. This is causing an increase in global travel trends. And from the increasing number of tourists and tourism revenue, it indicates the need for tourism that has been accumulated for a long time and emphasizes that the tourism business is definitely going to be active again.
