BH Air, the Bulgarian national airline, has started a route to Phuket International Airport (HKT). The first flight departed from Sofia Airport (SOF) at 4:30 p.m. on December 26 and arrived in Thailand on December 27 at 10:00 a.m. Flight code: BGH7002. This flight is a charter flight with an Airbus 320 and is operated by AOT Ground Aviation Services (AOTGA).

On December 21, 2022, AOT Ground Aviation Services Company Limited (AOTGA) supports the Thai Red Cross Society by providing ground services to aircraft for transporting donated organs and medical equipment, as well as taking care of safety during take-off and landing and during the transfer of donated organs at the aircraft parking area at Phuket International Airport to facilitate and speed up the transport of organs as soon as possible.

Sunclass Airlines has opened a new route from Stockholm-Arlanda Airport (ARN) to Phuket International Airport (HKT), beginning its first flight on November 25 at 9:55 p.m. and arriving in Thailand on November 26 at 6:37 p.m. (Thailand time), flight code DK2564, with an Airbus 330. It also received ground service from AOT Ground Aviation Services (AOTGA).
