A dragon-patterned airline, Loong Air, is ready to board a direct flight to Suvarnabhumi.


On July 14, 2023, Loong Air added a new service route, flying directly from Hangzhou International Airport (HGH) to Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK). Flight code GJ8021, operated by Airbus A320, landed at Suvarnabhumi Airport at 5:30 p.m. and ground serviced by AOT Ground Aviation Services Company Limited (AOTGA) and also counted as the third airline customer that has been serviced at Suvarnabhumi Airport, following Ruili Airlines on July 11.

Loong Air was originally a cargo airline from the People's Republic of China under the name CDI Cargo, which began operating in 2012 with a Boeing B737-300F Freighter and began commercial flights from 2013 onwards.
