Urumqi Air ready to fly to Suvarnabhumi Airport.
October 31, 2023 Urumqi Air, a low-cost airline from the People's Republic of China, has opened a new flight route from Luoyang Beijiao Airport (LYA) to Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK) to expand service. and to respond to the travel trend of Chinese tourists, which has continuously increased since the relaxation of measures to control the spread of the COVID-19 virus, the first flight arriving at Suvarnabhumi Airport is flight UQ2641, operated by a Boeing 737-800, and touched down at 1:35 a.m. on November 1, 2023. AOT Ground Services Company Limited (AOTGA) attended to welcome the inaugural flight this time.
In addition, the airline has continued to receive ground services from AOT Ground Services Company Limited (AOTGA) at Suvarnabhumi Airport since June 2023.
