Flights from other countries continued to increase at many airports in Thailand after the last New Year's festival. As a result, there are a lot of tourists and airlines, causing many airlines to open more routes, including routes to Don Mueang International Airport (DMK), such as MIAT Mongolian Airlines, the Mongolian national airline that has opened a new charter flight route from Chinggis Khaan International Airport (UBN) as known as New Ulaanbaatar International Airport in Töv, Mongolia and arrived at Don Mueang International Airport (DMK), Bangkok, Thailand, from the existing route to Bangkok, which is the route to Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK).
On January 13, 2023, MIAT Mongolian Airlines began flying the new route. The flight code OM7707 is operated by a Boeing 737-8 Max, departing at 11:20 a.m. and landing at Don Mueang International Airport at 4:55 p.m. local time. In addition, MIAT Mongolian Airlines is the eighth airline customer of AOT Ground Aviation Services Company Limited (AOTGA), which provides services at Don Mueang International Airport (DMK), and is also the first Mongolian airline to open a flight route at Don Mueang International Airport that is provided ground handling by AOTGA. AOTGA is very pleased to welcome the opening of the new route of the national airline of Mongolia this time. And even though the Don Mueang International Airport route this time is a charter, MIAT Mongolian Airlines still offers scheduled flights on UBN-HKT routes or routes that travel to Phuket International Airport (HKT) and also offers scheduled flights to Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK) as well.
