Air China, the national airline of China, has returned to Phuket.

It is now time for the major airlines to return, and China's national carrier, Air China, has also returned to open a route to Phuket. Founded in 1988, Air China carries more than 102 million domestic and international passengers and is also known as the "Big Three" or the country's three major airlines together with China Southern Airlines and China Eastern Airlines.



On January 30, 2023, Air China resumed operations from Beijing Capital International Airport (PEK) to Phuket International Airport (HKT) at 5:00 p.m. Thailand time. Flight code CA821 and operated by an A330-200 aircraft. The ground service provider for China's national airline this time is AOT Ground Aviation Services Company Limited, as known as AOTGA, which will have a ground time of 1 hour and 30 minutes before returning to Beijing Capital International Airport according to the flight schedule again. According to the flight schedule, Air China's new route will offer up to 3 flights per week.
