Air India opens a direct flight route from Delhi to Phuket, ready to welcome more tourists.

On December 15, 2023, Air India launched flights from Indira Gandhi International Airport (DEL) to Phuket International Airport (HKT), welcoming the growing number of Indian travelers to Thailand. The inaugural flight, flight code AI378, was operated by an Airbus 320 and touched down at 7:10 a.m. at Phuket International Airport. It was honored by Mr. Sophon Suwannarat, Governor of Phuket, Mrs. Patsi Permwongsenee, Regional Director for ASEAN, South Asia and the South Pacific Tourism Authority of Thailand, Mr. Monchai Tanode, Director of Phuket Airport, Mr. Niwat Thanintrawat, Commercial Director, Mr. Paruehas Prommachan, Operations Director - Phuket International Airport and AOT Ground Aviation Services Company Limited (AOTGA) joins in welcoming the inaugural flight this time.



In addition, after welcoming the said flight, a cake was cut to celebrate the opening of Air India's new route. Mr. Abraham Zachariah - Vice President of Air India, thanked all the AOTGA teams who have worked together in both operations and passenger services.
